Understanding the Admin Rent Detailed Report

Getting to know the Admin Rent Detailed Report within Syncrostore

Admin > Reports > Rent & Deposit Report

The Rent & Deposit Report lists every transaction that included a booth rent payment or a deposit, showing which dealer paid, which space it was for, how much was rent versus deposit, and how it was tendered. Use it to confirm a dealer's rent came in, review deposits taken, or check where balances stand.

Only transactions with at least one rent or deposit line appear here. An ordinary merchandise sale won't show up.

There is no date range on this report - it shows your full rent and deposit history, with the newest transactions first, and dealer balances as they stand right now.

Summary cards

Average Dealer Balance - the average balance across the dealers on this report.
Outstanding Balances - the total still carried on dealer accounts.

Both figures are current. They reflect where balances stand today, not where they stood when any particular payment was made.

Customize

Select Customize (top right) to show or hide columns and panels. Your choices also carry through to exports.

Export

1. Set any column filters first, so the report on screen matches what you want to send out.
2. Pick a format from Export Format: CSV, Excel (XLSX), or PDF.
3. Select Export.

The file contains exactly what's on screen - same filters, sort, and visible columns. It builds in your browser, so the page won't reload.

Tip: use CSV or Excel for bookkeeping and rent rolls; use PDF when a dealer or landlord needs a copy as-is.

Multi-store viewing

If your store belongs to a group, a store scope picker appears in the header with the group name and store count beneath it.

- Choose a scope to report across every store at once; a Store column is added.
- Each summary card gains a By store link showing the figure split per store.
- Customize and Export apply to the whole scope.

If your store isn't in a group, the picker is hidden and the report covers your store only.

FAQ

Why is Cash Paid larger than Total Amount on some rows?
The tender columns cover the whole transaction, while Rent Amount, Deposit Amount, and Total Amount cover only the rent and deposit lines. If a dealer paid rent and bought something on the same ticket, the extra shows in the tender column but not in Total Amount.

Why are there several dealers listed in one row?
One transaction can cover rent for more than one dealer. The Dealer ID, Dealer Name, and Dealer Space columns list all of them, separated by commas, and the rent and deposit amounts are the combined total for the transaction.

Is Dealer Balance what the dealer owed at the time of this payment?
No. It's their balance right now. A payment from six months ago shows today's balance beside it, not the historical one. On multi-dealer transactions it's an average of those dealers' current balances.

Why can't I pick a date range?
This report shows your full rent and deposit history in one view. Use the Transaction Date column filter to narrow it to a period.

A Payment Type reads "Unknown".
The transaction used a payment method this report doesn't have a label for. The amounts are still correct - check the tender columns to see how it was actually paid.

How do I find refunded rent or deposits?
Filter Payment Type to Cash Return, Credit Return, or Gift Card Return.

One of my stores is missing from a group view.
A store is left out if its data can't be reached at that moment; the rest of the group still reports normally. If it stays missing, contact support.

Nothing shows up at all.
Clear any column filters still applied from an earlier look, then confirm you're viewing the store or scope you expect. Remember this report only includes transactions with rent or deposit on them.
