Troubleshooting: Duplicate UPC Warning on the Inventory Page
If the system detects multiple items sharing the same UPC code, a yellow warning banner will appear on the Inventory page.
What this means: Two or more items in your inventory have been assigned the same UPC identifier, which can cause scanning issues at the POS.
How to resolve:
- Identify the items with duplicate UPCs (the warning will persist until no duplicates are detected).
- Open each item and update the UPC to a unique value, or remove the UPC from one of the duplicate items.
The warning banner will disappear automatically once the system detects no remaining duplicates.
