Managing Payment Terminals in Syncrostore POS (Select Terminal, Reset Terminal, Clear All)
Learn how to select the correct payment terminal, reset the terminal screen, and safely use Clear All in Syncrostore POS without losing work.
Select the Correct Payment Terminal
Use the Payment Terminal dropdown to choose the terminal for the register you’re using.
Why It Matters
If you log in/out between registers, selecting the wrong terminal can cause issues reconciling the cash drawer at end of day.
If you’re unsure which terminal to use, ask your Manager or Store Owner.
Reset Terminal
Click Reset Terminal to return the credit card terminal to its Welcome screen (PAX Devices)
Use this when:

The terminal appears stuck

A previous transaction left the terminal on a prompt screen
Clear All
Click Clear All to completely clear the POS screen including:

Customer selection
-
Payments
-
Line items
Important
If you need to come back to the transaction later, use Save for Later instead of Clear All.
