Using the Actions Menu in Syncrostore POS (Save for Later, Saved Transactions, Discounts, Layaway, Rent)
Learn every tool in the Syncrostore POS Actions menu including Save for Later, Saved Transactions, discounts, layaway, rent payments, and tax exemption.
Save for Later
Use Save for Later to pause a transaction and return to it later.

The transaction is saved for your username

Prevents losing work when switching tasks
Saved Transactions
Use Saved Transactions to:

View recently saved transactions (for your login)
-
Restore a saved transaction

Delete a saved transaction
Change Quantity
Use Change Quantity to open a popup and apply a new quantity.
If you receive an error, ensure you selected the line item in the grid first.
Apply Discount
Select an item in the grid, then click Apply Discount.
You can apply:

Discount amount
-
New price
- Discount percentage to
-
A single item, or
-
The entire transaction
Discount limits may require Manager/Admin approval depending on your store’s security settings.
Layaway Item
Select an item, then choose Layaway Item.

Only appears if layaway is enabled and the item meets store thresholds

If you don’t see it, layaway is likely disabled in Admin Preferences
Layaway Payment
Use Layaway Payment to take payments on an existing layaway.
If you receive an error, confirm the correct customer is selected and they have an active layaway.
Sell Gift Cards
Use Sell Gift Cards to prompt for a gift card number and add it to the sale.
If you receive an error, confirm gift cards are set up in Sales → Gift Cards (store setup dependent).
Rent Payment
Use Rent Payment to apply rent payments to a selected vendor and view their balance.
You can also mark the payment as a deposit using Send as a Deposit (if available).
Tax Exemption
Tax exemption actions require selecting a tax-exempt customer with valid tax/reseller information which can be added under Customer details in the Customer page.
