How do I search, filter and print labels on the new Inventory page?

A tour of the card-style Inventory page: the Tags section, filters, selecting items and printing.

On the Inventory page, search or filter to find your items, tick the checkbox next to each one, then click Print labels in the bar that appears.

Who this is for: Vendors (your own items) and store staff (every item in the store).

These steps use the New Experience. If your menu looks different, click Switch to New Vendor Experience (vendors) or Switch to New Experience (Beta) (store staff) at the top of the page.

For a full tour of the page, see "How do I find and manage my items on the Inventory page? (vendors)".

Find an item

  1. Vendors: click Inventory. Store staff: click Inventory > All items.
  2. Type in the search box "Search items by name, SKU, or description...".
  3. Staff: to see one vendor's items, type the vendor number or alias in the Vendor box. New Inventory search filter

Filter and sort

  • Status (All / In store / Not in store), Label Status (All / Printed / Needs label) and Category.
  • Sort: Newest, Oldest, Recently updated, Name A-Z, Name Z-A, Price high-low, Price low-high, Qty high-low, Qty low-high.
  • Chips: All Items, In Stock, Low Stock, Out of Stock, Needs Labels. Needs Labels is the quickest way to find items you haven't printed yet.

Print labels for one or more items

    1. Tick the checkbox next to each item. The bulk bar shows "N selected".
New Inventory Selected Items Vendor Print
  1. Click Print labels.
  2. On the Label card, click Change to pick your Printer (Dymo / iDPRT & others / Inkjet sheet) and the label that matches the roll or sheet in your printer. You can also choose Barcode or QR code, a Custom size, or a Saved design from the Label Designer.
  3. Under How many of each, set how many labels to print for each item. This does not change your inventory quantity.
  4. Click Print, then print from the PDF.

Other ways to print:

  • One item: ⋯ row menu > Print label.
  • Everything not printed yet: More (⋮) > Print all labels not printed (follows your current filters).

Good to know

  • Prices on tags follow your store's pricing setting: dual pricing prints both prices, Vendor Choice prints the credit price only, and stores with neither print the cash price. See Why does my tag show one price instead of two?
  • Barcodes don't match the SKU. Barcodes encode an internal code, not your SKU. They still scan correctly at the register.
  • Mark as printed / Mark as needs label in the row menu only change the Label status, for tracking.
  • On your phone? The Syncrostore app can add items, add photos and print tags (tap Inventory, then Print tags). You can also select several items and delete them there. See How do I print price tags and barcode labels?.
  • Multi-store: manage inventory and print labels on each store's own web address (<store>.mysyncrostore.com).

Troubleshooting

  • Labels come out wrong or blank: in More (⋮) > Label settings, set one-click printing to Off - labels open as a PDF and print the PDF first. If the PDF looks right, the problem is the printer driver settings (label size, 100% scale, no rotation).
  • One-click printing (QZ Tray) prints when you wanted a PDF: turn it Off in Label settings.
  • Barcode won't scan: lower the print density in the printer's preferences; avoid lowercase SKUs.
  • Long descriptions or variant names are cut off: pick Custom size (with Variant details ticked) or a design from the Label Designer.
  • Buttons don't respond or prices show $0 after an update: do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 / Cmd+Shift+R).
  • Supported printers: iDPRT SP310/SP320 and DYMO. See Find Your Printer.
