Which label printers work with Syncrostore?

Supported label printers (iDPRT SP310/SP320 and DYMO) and which brands aren't supported.

Syncrostore officially supports the iDPRT SP310, iDPRT SP320 and DYMO LabelWriter printers; other printers (TSC, Zebra, Munbyn, Niimbot and others) may work, but support can't set them up or troubleshoot them.

How printing works (why most printers can work)

Printers aren't "added" to Syncrostore. Syncrostore creates a PDF of your labels, and you print it like any document. So any printer your computer can print to can work, if its driver is set to the exact label size, 100% scale and no rotation.

Steps to get any printer working

  1. Install the printer's driver on your Windows or Mac computer and print a test page from the computer itself.
  2. Ask your store which label size to use. Many stores require a specific label.
  3. In Syncrostore, select your items and open Print labels. Choose the label that matches the labels loaded in your printer. Screenshot: Print labels window with the Label picker (Dymo / iDPRT & others / Inkjet sheet) highlighted
  4. Open the PDF and print at 100% / Actual Size, not "Fit to page."
  5. Only after the PDF prints correctly, set up QZ Tray if you want one-click printing (optional).

Troubleshooting

  • Printer doesn't appear under Detect Printers: That list only works with QZ Tray installed. You don't need it; print the PDF instead.
  • Nothing prints or labels are blank with QZ Tray: Turn QZ Tray off and test the PDF first. TSC and some Zebra printers often don't work with one-click printing.
  • Printer works for one store but not another: Printers aren't tied to a store. Look for a duplicate printer entry in Windows and test without QZ Tray.
  • Which label paper to buy: Buy labels made for your printer in the size your store uses. Syncrostore doesn't recommend a brand.
  • Printing from a phone or tablet: Not supported. You need a Windows or Mac computer.
  • Printer connection or cable problems: Support can't troubleshoot computers, cables or printer connections, only the Syncrostore software.
