RustDesk Remote Support Setup | Syncrostore Support

Download and configure the Syncrostore RustDesk remote support utility for secure remote assistance on POS and workstation systems.

Overview

Syncrostore Support uses RustDesk for remote troubleshooting and setup assistance.

This article explains how to:

  • Download the Syncrostore Remote Support utility
  • Connect the client to the Syncrostore private support server
  • Provide your support ID to a technician

Download the latest Syncrostore Remote Support utility below:

Run the Application

  1. Open the downloaded file
  2. If Windows prompts for permission, click Run or Yes
  3. RustDesk will open automatically

Installation is not required for standard support sessions.


 Extract the ZIP File

  1. Right click the ZIP file
  2. Select Extract All
  3. Open the extracted folder

IMPORTANT:

Do NOT rename any files after extracting the ZIP file.

The included configuration files must remain with their original filenames in order for the Syncrostore support server configuration to load correctly.


Run RustDesk

  1. Open the extracted folder
  2. Double click:

Syncrostore-RemoteSupport.exe

  1. If Windows prompts for permission, click Run or Yes

RustDesk will open automatically and connect to the Syncrostore support server.


Start a Remote Support Session

Once RustDesk is open:

  1. Locate the Your ID field
  2. Provide the ID to Syncrostore Support
  3. Provide the temporary password displayed on screen

A technician can then securely connect to assist you.


Important Notes

  • RustDesk must remain open during the support session
  • Some antivirus or browser warnings are normal for remote support tools
  • Remote support is intended for troubleshooting and setup assistance only
  • If the support server configuration does not load properly, ensure the extracted files were not renamed or moved individually
