How to Sell and Activate a Gift Card Through the POS

Step 1: After creating the gift card, navigate to the Point of Sale page.

Step 2: In the Actions section, select "Sell Gift Card."

Step 3: In the popup, scan the barcode on the back of the gift card or manually enter the gift card number.

Step 4: Press "Confirm." The gift card will appear in the Line Items section.

Step 5: Complete the transaction as normal (take payment from the customer).

Note: Tax is not applied to gift card purchases. The gift card is automatically activated upon completion of the sale. Customers cannot use a gift card until it has been sold and activated.
