How to Configure State, City, and Local Tax Rates in Preferences

Navigate to Preferences > Taxes tab to configure your tax rates:

  • State Tax Rate — The state sales tax percentage applied to taxable transactions.
  • City Tax Rate — Any additional city-level tax percentage.
  • Local Tax Rate — Any additional local jurisdiction tax percentage.

These rates are combined and applied to taxable items during POS transactions.

 

Press "Save Settings" to apply. Consult your local tax authorities to ensure your rates are accurate and up to date.
