How to Check Stripe Balance vs. ACH Eligible Obligation

Before processing ACH payments, verify that your Stripe account has sufficient funds.

How to Check:

  1. Navigate to the Settlements page.
  2. In the ACH Payments section, review:
    • Stripe Balance — The funds currently available in your Stripe account.
    • ACH Eligible Obligation — The total amount owed to vendors with connected Stripe accounts.
  3. Click the refresh button in the top right corner of the ACH Payments section to get the most current figures.

If the obligation exceeds your balance, the system will pay vendors sequentially until your account runs out of funds. You will need to either print remaining checks or reload your Stripe account.
