How to Apply a Discount to a Single Item on the POS

Step 1: In the Line Items grid, click/press the item you want to discount (it will appear gray when selected).

Step 2: Press "Apply Discount."

Step 3: Select "Apply to Selected Item."

Step 4: Choose the discount type:

• Amount — Deducts a fixed dollar amount.
• Percentage — Deducts a percentage of the original price.
• New Price — Sets a completely new price.

Step 5: Enter the value and press "Apply."

The item's subtotal will update, and the original price will be shown in the description.
