Add items fast in Syncrostore POS by scanning ItemID/SKU/UPC, using Lookup Item search, and adding products with Enter or Add Product.

How to Add Items in Syncrostore POS: Scan SKU/UPC, Lookup Item, and Add Product

Add an Item by Scanning or Typing

On the Lines tab, use the entry field to scan or type:

  • ItemID

  • SKU

  • UPC

  • Description (when applicable)

Then:

  • Press Enter, or

  • Click Add Product

Use Lookup Item to Search Inventory

If you don’t have the exact SKU/UPC:

  1. Click Lookup Item

  2. Search by description or other inventory fields

  3. Select the correct item from the results to add it to the transaction

Best Practices

  • Scan whenever possible for speed and accuracy

  • Use Lookup Item when a barcode is missing or unreadable

  • Confirm you added the correct item before taking payment
