How to Create a Gift Card in Syncrostore

Step 1: Navigate to the Gift Cards page.

Step 2: Select "Add New."

Step 3: Enter the following information:

• Gift Card Number — Scan the barcode on the back of the card, or manually enter a number.
• Initial Balance — The amount of money being loaded onto the card.
• Expiration Date — Must be at least 5 years from the issued date (per Federal regulations). Your state may require a longer period.
• Vendor (optional) — Assign the card to a specific vendor.
• Customer (optional) — Assign the card to a customer for easier tracking.

Step 4: Select "Save" to create the gift card.

Note: Creating a gift card does not activate it. You must sell the gift card through the POS to activate it.
