Use the buttons on each cart row: the − / + stepper for quantity, Price to override the price, Desc to change the description and Delete to remove the line.
Who this is for: Cashiers using the register (Sales > Register).
Reading a cart row
Each row shows the item description, some tags, four numbers, a quantity stepper and three buttons.

The four numbers are the cash and card price (left) and the cash and card line total (right). Both are always shown.
Change the quantity
- Press − or +, or type into the number box.
- You'll see "Quantity updated".
You can't go below 1. To take the item off the sale, use Delete.
Change the price
- Press Price on the row. A box titled "Override price:" opens with the current price.
- Type the new price and press OK.
Overriding a price removes any discount or sale on that line. The ▼ 10% off tag disappears and the DISCOUNTS total drops. To give a further reduction on top of a sale price, use Discounts instead. You can override to $0.00.
Change the description
- Press Desc. A box titled "Edit description:" opens with the current text.
- Edit it and press OK. The change shows on the cart and the receipt.
Remove an item
Press Delete on the row. The whole line is removed, whatever the quantity. There is no confirmation. You'll see "Item removed".
All three buttons work on any row. You don't need to select it first.
Selecting a row
Click anywhere on a row that isn't a button. The row turns green and the right rail changes from "No item selected - click a cart row" to "Selected: …". You only need a selected row for Layaway Item and for discounting one item instead of the whole sale.
Clear the whole sale
Press Clear All in the right rail and confirm "Clear the entire cart?". The sale empties, including the attached customer.
Troubleshooting
- "Enter a valid price": a negative price isn't allowed.
- An empty description is rejected: type at least one character.
- I already took a card payment and want to start over: void the payment on the Payments tab first. Clear All does not reverse a charge that already went through the terminal.
