Card readers that just work

If you process payments through SyncroPay, these are the four Dejavoo readers we recommend. They're paired with your account, configured by our team, and supported end-to-end. Plug one in at the counter and your store is taking cards.

Why we recommend these four Dejavoo readers

We chose Dejavoo for SyncroPay because the integration is clean, the terminals are reliable, and the same vendor supports countertop, portable, and pinpad form factors. That means one piece of hardware vocabulary across every checkout in your store — not a Frankenstein mix.

Four models cover the situations a multi-vendor retailer or thrift store actually runs into. Your main counter, a portable reader for special-events or busy Saturdays, and a compact pinpad for a second register that doesn't need a full terminal. We'll spec the right combination during your SyncroPay onboarding.

All four ship pre-paired with your SyncroPay merchant account. We handle the boarding, the configuration, and the support. You plug it in, accept your first card, done.

— Drew, founder of Syncrostore

The four readers

One main counter terminal, one portable, one compact pinpad, and one ADA customer pinpad. Mix and match for your setup.

Dejavoo P1 Terminal

Dejavoo P1

Compact pinpad

The small footprint reader. Best for a second register, a tucked-away counter, or anywhere you need card acceptance without a full terminal taking up space. Pairs to your Landi Cx20 Lite or any computer.

Dejavoo P3 Terminal

Dejavoo P3

Portable terminal

Take it to the customer. Great for busy Saturdays at an antique mall when the line backs up, for off-site events, or for taking payment at the booth instead of the counter. Wireless and battery-powered.

Dejavoo P8 Terminal

Dejavoo P8

Countertop terminal with screen

The main-counter pick. Bigger screen, more features, runs alongside the Landi Cx20 Lite for your primary checkout. The reader most of our customers use day-to-day.

Dejavoo P17 ADA customer-facing pinpad

Dejavoo P17

Customer-facing ADA pinpad

The accessibility option. ADA-compliant tactile keypad and dual pricing display, plugs into the P1 over USB-C. Use it on any counter where customers need to enter their PIN themselves.

1. You move to SyncroPay. Our team handles the merchant boarding and underwriting. Usually about 2 weeks end to end.

2. Your Dejavoo readers arrive pre-configured. We image and pair each unit before shipping. No manual setup at your store.

3. They talk directly to Syncrostore. When you ring up a sale in Syncrostore, the reader prompts the customer automatically. No separate amount entry, no manual reconciliation at end of day.

4. Settlement happens in Syncrostore. Payouts, vendor splits, and reporting all flow through your existing Syncrostore account.

For SyncroPay rates and quote-specific terms, ask your account contact — we don't publish those publicly.

Common questions

Before we get on a call.

Do I have to use SyncroPay to use these readers?

Yes. The integration we support is between SyncroPay and these specific Dejavoo models. If you process payments through a different processor, you'll need their own terminals.

Can I switch to SyncroPay if I already have a different processor?

Yes. The switch usually takes about 2 weeks and we handle the boarding for you. Most customers move because the Syncrostore integration eliminates a bunch of manual reconciliation work.

How much does SyncroPay cost?

Rates depend on your transaction volume, ticket size, and business type. We'll quote you specifically during the switch conversation — we don't post numbers on the web.

Which reader should I order?

Most stores start with one P8 at the main counter. Add a P3 portable if you do off-site events or want to bust lines on busy days. Add a P1 if you have a second register that doesn't need a full terminal. We'll spec the right combo on the call.

Do the readers come pre-configured?

Yes. We image every Dejavoo terminal with your SyncroPay merchant info before it ships. Plug it in and it's ready.

What if a reader breaks?

Standard manufacturer warranty handled through us. You don't call Dejavoo. Call Syncrostore.

Can I add more readers later?

Yes. Order more whenever you're ready. Same boarding, same Syncrostore account, all readers stay in sync.

How long does it take to switch from my current processor?

Typically 2 weeks from signed agreement to readers on your counter. The slowest part is underwriting; we move as fast as the processors allow.

Ready to switch (or get help with your existing setup)?

15-minute call. We'll walk you through SyncroPay rates, which Dejavoo readers fit your store, and the switch timeline.

Need a POS to pair these with?

All four Dejavoo readers plug into the Landi Cx20 Lite — the checkout station we put on the counter of every Syncrostore-powered store. Dual-screen, full HD, built-in 80mm receipt printer, configured by our team before it ships.

Not on SyncroPay yet?

Syncrostore works with other processors too — you can run our POS without our payments. But the Dejavoo readers on this page only work with SyncroPay. The integrated reader-to-receipt flow is the main reason most customers switch.
